I like to think of my time building LendEdge as the cornerstone of my career. It was my first time taking the lead on a large project and I’m really proud of what we accomplished. We built a large scale, flexible application that could be entirely customized for each of our clients’ needs. Our software left such a deep impression on CIT Bank that they decided to acquire the company.
As the technical lead on the project, I was involved in every aspect of development from technical analysis to dev ops. Most of my time was spent on architectural design, code reviews and implementation.
After the acquisition the LendEdge brand was dropped and the application was incorporated into Direct Capital’s main website. You can read the press release at http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20140624006558/en/CIT-Agrees-Acquire-Technology-Driven-Lender-Direct-Capital.
